Curve Cycling has recalled the Carbon GXR fork due to its potential to crack.
The left leg of the fork above the disc brake mount may fatigue and crack over time.
If the left leg of the fork breaks, the rider could fall, increasing the risk of serious injury to themselves and other road, path or trail users nearby.
Consumers who own the fork are advised to stop using the product immediately, however Curve Cycling believes all the affected forks have already been replaced and destroyed.
Curve Cycling became aware of the issue in April 2020 and worked quickly to contact customers and replace the affected forks.
A video was made showing riders how to remove the fork from their bike.
The forks are known as the Curve Carbon GXR 12mm Flat Mount Disk Fork, and were available in multiple colours.
The affected units have the serial numbers: HJ201908XXXXX (where the final "XXXXX" is to be replaced with numbers).
The Carbon GXR fork was sold by Curve Cycling between 17 December 2019 and 24 March 2020.
