Around the Bay Family Ride
Ride features
Starting and finishing at Albert Park, riders can complete up to three laps around the lake and enjoy the pristine roads completely closed and car free. The route will include kids activities and entertainment along the way for the whole family to enjoy!
The 17km route is an achievable distance for all abilities and the perfect day out for the whole family to enjoy. Plus, kids 14 and under ride free!

- Kids rest stop packed full of entertainment (and snacks) to pass through on each lap – from face painters to BMX bike displays, you’ll notice something new on every lap.
- Collect passport stickers on each lap for your chance to go into the draw to win some amazing prizes.
- This route is exclusive to the family ride, so there’s no need to worry about merging with other riders along the way.
- Celebrate back at the event village festival with friends and family as you cross the finish line to collect your Family Ride finishers medal!
- Check out the Kids Zone in the event village after your ride, with plenty of activities and feel-good vibes to keep you entertained throughout the afternoon.
