The Western Ring Road Path from Kathryn Street to Mahoneys Road is open again.
It had been closed for several weeks to install underground infrastructure for a "smart freeway management system”.
The Blaxland Avenue overpass will be intermittently closed on Thursday 17 December so contractors can pour concrete next to the overpass on the south side of the M80 Freeway.
Closures will be between 1pm and 4pm, with the path closed for up to ten minutes at a time, for a maximum of eight intervals.
The closures have been scheduled at a time when cyclist and pedestrian volumes are low.
There will be electronic signage at decision points along the trail and traffic controllers in place to safely hold cyclists and pedestrians while the concreting works are happening, as well as to guide them around the work area.
