Mountain bike riders have been asked to contribute ideas to the planning and improvement of current and future mountain bike networks around the state.
An online survey and mapping tool has been launched to capture rider input – see here.
The survey seeks information about your riding habits. Those that you ride with and their family also have an opportunity to contribute.
The strategy consultants also ask for feedback on a number of existing trails, as well as potential sites for new MTB parks.
"The views of the community are very important in the planning for proposed mountain bike facilities,” riders are told.
"If you are a mountain bike club member, keen mountain biker, parent/guardian of a mountain biker, or new to the sport we appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey.
"The project aims to provide a strategic framework for the development and support for mountain biking throughout Victoria.
"This is the first stage of consultation offering you the opportunity to contribute to the planning and improvement of current and future mountain bike networks around the state."
