Riders who take their bikes on trains may face disruptions over the next few weeks as a number of lines are impacted by shutdowns.
Buses will be used to replace trains on a number of services on the Sunbury, Mernda and Pakenham lines.
Note that bikes are not permitted on buses, unless a bagged, folding Brompton.
On the Mernda line buses replace trains between Epping and Mernda between 8:40pm and 1:30am in four nights between Monday 2 May and Thursday 5 May. And again, between Monday 9 May and Thursday 12 May.
On the Sunbury line buses replace trains after 9pm each night between North Melbourne and Sunshine on four nights between Sunday 24 April and Wednesday 27 April.
In May buses replace trains:
- North Melbourne to Sunshine, after 9:00pm, five nights from Sunday 1 May to Thursday 5 May;
- North Melbourne to Sunbury, over weekend from 1:00am Saturday 7 May to last service Sunday 8 May;
- Sunshine to Sunbury, over weekend from 9:00pm Friday 20 May to last service Sunday 22 May;
- Sunshine to Sunbury, one night from 9:00 pm to last service Monday 23 May;
- North Melbourne to Sunshine, one day, from 1:30a to last service Sunday 29 May;
- Sunshine to Sunbury, one night from 9:00pm to last service, Monday 30 May;
- Watergardens to Sunbury, one night from 9:00pm to last service, Wednesday 1 June.
On the Pakenham Line in May buses replace trains:
- Caulfield to Pakenham, one night, after 8:30pm to last service, Sunday 15 May;
- Caulfield to Westall, four nights, after 8:40 to last service, from Monday 16 May to Thursday 19 May;
- Caulfield to Westall, one night, after 8:40 to last service, Thursday 26 May;
- Burnley/Sth Yarra to Westall, four nights, after 8:30 to last service, Sunday 22 May to Wednesday 25 May.
