Riders who use the bike path on Whitehall Street in Footscray will be impeded for short periods on the morning of Friday 4 August while a tree is removed.
The tree is located south of Youell Street beside a fence, which separates the path from the West Gate Tunnel construction site.
The work will take about an hour and is scheduled for 9.30am to avoid morning peak traffic.
During the works the shared path will be closed for short periods and riders and pedestrians will be temporarily stopped.
Traffic controllers will be on hand to assist.
