With the depths of winter in the rear-view and warmer months now upon us, it’s a great time to be getting out and about on the bike. In need of a little push to get you going in the springtime? The good news is there are some fun events to get involved in over the coming weeks. Read on for details.

Pedal for Parkinson’s: Tasmania, Wednesday 20 September – Sunday 24 September

The 2023 Pedal for Parkinson’s Tour is a fully-supported 500km circuit through the central highlands of Tasmania over five days, beginning and ending in Hobart. Riders can take on the challenge to help raise awareness about Parkinson’s Disease and pedal toward a fundraising goal of $25,000. More information here.

The Pyrenees Magic Tri Distance Ride: Victoria, Friday 29 September

The Rotary Club of Maryborough in Victoria is organising a ride through the Pyrenees Ranges around Avoca on the AFL Grand Final public holiday. The Pyrenees Magic Tri Distance Ride offers three options through this magnificent wine region at 33km, 55km and 98km all following the same route with their own return points along the way. Around the Bay: Victoria, Sunday 8 October

Melbourne’s iconic Around the Bay bike ride is fast approaching and it’s the perfect  to opportunity to take on your own personal challenge. There are seven ride options to choose from, a lane will be closed for you to ride glide down the Princes Freeway and there’s a fully closed family route around Albert Park so everyone can get involved.
