Visitors and residents of Ingleburn, NSW will now have access to a family-friendly mountain bike trail, with the Ingleburn Reserve Mountain Bike Trail Loop now officially opened to the public.
The 770-metre trail is part of a $1.5 million project to enhance the riverside reserve, with $90,000 injected into designing the mini mountain bike trail.
Community consultation helped shape the final design of the trail, which includes jumps, rollovers, and berms for beginner and intermediate riders.
Mayor of Campbelltown George Griess said the trail would be an exciting asset that would attract riders of all abilities.
“Ingleburn Reserve is one of Campbelltown’s best bushland reserves and a popular location for families on weekends so it’s great to see the facilities here enhanced by this exciting new mountain bike trail,” Cr Greiss said.
“The trail is designed to be family-friendly and will suit a variety of skills and abilities."
