VicRoads is opening the floor to people who ride this week with information sessions in Brunswick and Coburg about the Sydney Road Improvement Project.
The information sessions will give people the opportunity to see the proposed options to change Sydney Road, discuss them with the VicRoads project team and give feedback.
Afternoon and evening sessions will be held on Wednesday 10 July in Brunswick and on Thursday 11 July in Coburg.
There are five different proposed options to change Sydney Road, however some have better outcomes for riders than others.
The pick of the bunch is option three which removes car parking from the street to make bike riding safer and more comfortable, improve tram speeds and build a more liveable street enticing visitors and shoppers.
